Could you describe what your day-to-day looks like as an intern for CAD Management?
My responsibilities include researching and analyzing data for artists, compiling this data to create newsletters on recent music trends, and designing infographic posters to complement these newsletters. I also work on creating presentation decks to help artists book tour venues and brainstorm ideas to enhance social media engagement. Additionally, I conduct research for potential pop-up events around NYC to support promotional efforts.

What was your favorite part about your internship?
I had the opportunity to work with various artists, which allowed me to expand my connections and gain valuable insights into what happens behind the scenes—a perspective that was especially eye-opening since I’m more accustomed to being the artist myself.
Did your internship meet your expectations and how will it impact your career goals?
Yes! The internship was more research-based than I initially expected, but it ultimately helped me achieve my goals by providing a deeper understanding of both sides of the entertainment and music industry. I gained valuable insights into managing artists while also appreciating how to balance being an artist as a hobby.

How would you describe the way ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?
ArtBound helped me the most in finding an internship placement that suited me. In Hong Kong, many offices and studios primarily use Chinese and aren't always welcoming to internationals. However, this experience allowed me to secure internships globally, which also exposed me to diverse working styles and broadened my perspective.
My favorite part of the internship was that I get to work with different artists, and it increased my international connection!
