Can you describe your Communications & Public Relations Internship at Viral Ventures?
I completed a virtual Communications and Public Relations internship with Viral Ventures. They have a global presence, with events taking place in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. My tasks included creating copy, which was then circulated to the media, creating assets in the form of event posters, curating guest lists for influencer events, replying to emails from influencers, and contacting venues.

How do you think this internship has impacted your career?
I was able to have an inside look into the world of marketing, a practical experience that I would not have experienced otherwise. I'm hoping this will lead to further opportunities in the Creative and Communications industries.

What did ArtBound Initiative help you with the most?
It was a very beneficial experience and I would recommend ArtBound Initiative to anyone wishing to begin exploring their career options with an internship. ABI was quick to assist me in finding an internship placement in such short a timeframe. I appreciated the mentoring and input from the coaches, who assisted me in improving my resume and portfolio content with one-on-one feedback. The team was also very responsive and ensured that transitioning into a new internship was a smooth experience.
