Gabriella's Story: Virtual Social Media Internship
This is Gabriella!
During her studies at Parsons School of Design, Gabriella sought to gain more hands-on experience within the creative industry. She decided to do an internship with the ArtBound Initiative program and landed a virtual social media internship with The Brag Media, a premium youth publisher specializing in events, content, and booking global talent.
Please describe your responsibilities during your internship!
During my virtual social media internship, I was responsible for managing the social media and scheduled posts, as well as designing posts, reels, and Instagram content. I also got the chance to interview some artists and write articles about them.
What was the most rewarding thing about this experience?
During this experience, one of the most rewarding things was the relationship I had with my supervisor, as well as the opportunities given to me, like my first article published to the public. The work environment during my internship was amazing, friendly, and supportive.

Has this experience helped further your professional goals?
Absolutely. I now know how important the work environment is for me, as well as the healthy relationships with my co-workers that go further than just the job.
It was incredible - the guidance is unmatched and I feel so prepared for the application process once I graduate from university.
